2020 Brochure to be published in Autumn 2019
The White House is a recently renovated Georgian country house set in an idyllic and peaceful location in the heart of a working farm a couple of miles from Brancaster.
All the bedrooms are beautifully appointed with ensuite bath or shower rooms, tea and coffee making facilities, SKY TV and free WiFi.
There are two delightful sitting rooms, dining room, breakfast room and a huge sheltered terrace in the old walled garden. Tennis court and croquet lawn.
Paint en plein air at the many fabulous locations nearby when weather permits, or in the studio which is spacious, warm and airy, with adjacent kitchen facilities and separate washrooms.
Prices include VAT and all Tuition, Accommodation, Breakfast, Dinner - plus light snacks during the day if the group is not painting at an away location. Drinks from the Honesty Bar or at Dinner are extra.
Arrive at The White House by 4 o’clock on Day 1. Courses start with tea and cake downstairs where you will meet your tutor and fellow students. Settle in to your quarters, check out the studio and convene again for drinks before dinner in the garden room.
Dinner at The White House at 7 pm – followed by a talk or demonstration in the studio on Day 1.
Four night Art breaks finish on the last day at 4 pm.
Five night Art breaks (2020) finish at 10 am on Friday mornng
Please vacate bedrooms by 10.00 am. The facilities of the White House and Studio are at your disposal until course ends, and luggage storage is available.
Start with tea a 4 pm on Day 1, opt to stay for dinner on any evening with your group (cost £30, advanced booking essential), or if preferred meet in the Breakfast Room at the White House at 9.00 - 9.30 am (depending upon tutor) on Day 2.
Light snacks are available at lunchtime if the group is not painting outdoors at a specific location. For those not in residence, art courses end at 4pm.
